Coastal Nature Play offers classes using Tinkergarten curriculum in Brunswick County, NC for young children and their grownups! In these one-hour weekly classes, we guide families through songs, movement, exploration, and purposeful play.
Each season, we help children to develop one of our 8 core skills kids need to become curious, capable learners who can contribute to their world. This Spring, we focus on creativity—the ability to both imagine original ideas or solutions to problems and do what needs to be done to make them happen. Creative thinking is a critical skill; not only for artists or musicians, but also for problem solving, maintaining relationships and just experiencing and being in the world.
Families may join the class at any point in the session. Classes will be pro-rated based on the remaining classes available. Please see our registration page for more information on pricing.
Classes are wrapping up for the year. A new season of classes will start in 2025. Ms. Ericka is expecting a baby and is unavailable to teach classes again until 2025. Thank you for your support and understanding. We can't wait to get outside and play in 2025!

Ericka Sargent
As a homeschool mom of an active 7-year-old and an Early Childhood Educator, I know how important it is for children to get outside and explore! I’m excited to bring the Tinkergarten curriculum to Brunswick County! I’ve taught Tinkergarten classes in Southington, CT, since May 2019, and now my family has moved to NC! We are excited to meet new friends in our new community. Let’s Play!
